My late grandfather Narayan Rao Kulkarni did visit the greatest monument for love ever built, the Taj Mahal some time in the 1940s.

Here is a glimpse of it through his lens. Some of these are signed with a pen asserting the copyright. So in the era of analogue black and white, there was no watermark but a real indelible ink mark!!

He currently lifts my spirits every day though I am pretty sure he never met me or saw me. I wish I had a chance to be with him but now I do get to be through his clicks and archival collection.
