Here is one of the rare clicks of a holy river bank or ghat…probably clicked inbetween the 1920s or 50s.

When you get photographs and negatives with no dates, it is difficult to put a date or year or a place to it.

Google lens tells me this is Vishram Ghat of Mathura, on the banks of Yamuna river.

I simply admire these clicks…I see them from the lens and perspective of my Nana. This is how it looked back in time.

These people were there doing their rituals or simply sitting around. Was he on a boat? Or opposite bank?
