This is how political leaders would stand with people, be among people, loved by them while loving them. Today it seemed like the legacy has been carried forward by the great grandchildren of Nehru – Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka to save the constitution, the very democratic voting rights and principles drafted by him and other great leaders.

Going to people, being with people and standing up for the people was how the freedom was won. That’s how it needs to be nurtured.

One can only hope democracy will continue to thrive in this great nation. Love will win over hate politics.
